SiteGround's StartUp plan is €2.99 + VAT a month for the first year, paid upfront, then €15.99. It includes email, and staging from GrowBig up. Grandhosting is €3.49 + VAT a month from the first month on, with no introductory price, and includes a private test copy (staging) of every site.

Is SiteGround cheaper than Grandhosting?

For the first year, slightly: StartUp costs €35.88 + VAT for 12 months paid upfront, our Micro €41.88 + VAT over the same year, paid monthly. From the second year StartUp renews at €15.99 + VAT a month (€191.88 a year); Micro has no separate renewal price. A busy site pays us for the extra server usage it needs.

Do I get a staging site on the cheapest plan?

Not on SiteGround: staging starts at GrowBig. With us every site, Micro included, gets a private test copy where you try updates first, then publish them when they're right.

Can you move my site from SiteGround?

Yes, free. Our team moves the files, database, DNS and SSL, and your SiteGround site keeps running until you switch. Mailboxes aren't part of our hosting, so if your mailbox is with SiteGround, keep it there or move it to one of our mailboxes, from €1.90 a month + VAT.
