Kinsta is a premium managed WordPress host with its own dashboard and data centres worldwide, priced in US dollars by monthly visits from $35 a month. Grandhosting also runs every site on its own, with a private test copy and nightly backups, from €3.49 + VAT a month, billed by the server usage a site needs rather than its visits.

Built for WordPress, not for servers
Kinsta, like us, has its own dashboard, MyKinsta. Most hosts in Greece and Cyprus give you Plesk or cPanel instead: good tools for running a server, where WordPress is one app among many. If that's what you're used to, this is what changes day to day with ours.

Sealed off and built for WordPress
Most hosting puts many customers on one server and hands them a general-purpose panel. We built the platform the other way round.
Sealed off from other sites
- Every site runs on its own, with its own reserved computing power, memory and database. No other site can use its share.
- One site can’t reach another, so a problem on one site stays there.
- We tested it: with one site pushed to full power, the site next to it kept running normally, and a site that ran out of memory was stopped at its own limit while its neighbour kept answering every visitor.
Built for WordPress
- We host WordPress only, so everything, from the web server to the speed cache and the dashboard, is set up for WordPress rather than adapted from general hosting.
- WordPress itself runs from a clean, protected copy; only your content changes. Updates reach your site with no downtime.
- Your images and files aren’t stored on your web server. They live on separate storage and are served straight from there, so they never slow your pages down, and a server failing never loses them.
- Our dashboard manages WordPress sites, not a server: a private test copy, plugins, logs, blocked attacks and cost, for each site.
For developers: what runs your site
- Web server and PHP. OpenLiteSpeed with LiteSpeed PHP, with GD, SOAP, BCMath, intl and zip on every site. Logged-in pages, carts and checkout are never page-cached.
- Caching. A Redis object cache on every site, kept separate from every other site’s, plus an optional CDN per site.
- Database. MariaDB, a dedicated database per site, with phpMyAdmin from the dashboard. Automatic failover to a live copy: in our tests about 14 seconds, with no lost writes.
- Access. A WP-CLI terminal over SSH with your own SSH keys, a browser WP-CLI console, and one-click login to wp-admin.
- Security. A web application firewall in front of every site, with every block visible in the dashboard, and malware scans every night and whenever a plugin is installed.
- Media. Uploads live on separate storage in the EU and are served straight from it, not through WordPress or PHP.

- Your visitors are worldwide and you want to pick a data centre near them. We host in the EU only.
- You want an established platform with agency and enterprise plans.
- You want to try it for a month free on an entry plan.
Grandhosting is the better fit if
- You want to pay in euro, from €3.49 + VAT a month, rather than from $35.
- You don't want to pay per visit. We bill the server usage your site needs, so a traffic spike isn't priced per 1,000 visitors.
- You need more storage: ours is €0.10 per GB + VAT over the included 10 GB, Kinsta's extra disk is $2 per GB.
- You want backups every night, kept 30 days, on every site, not 14.
- You don't want bandwidth bills. Ours is included with no overage fees; Kinsta charges $0.50 per GB of server bandwidth over the plan.
What you get either way: isolated sites, a CDN, a free test copy (staging), free SSL, daily backups, free migration, their own dashboard. These are standard now, so they shouldn’t decide it. What happens when your site gets busy, or breaks, should.

Kinsta's entry plan is $35 a month ($30 billed yearly) plus tax, for up to 35,000 visits. Our Micro starts at €3.49 + VAT and Standard, which gets extra power by itself when busy, at €5.99 + VAT, and a busy site pays for the extra server usage it needs. For most small and medium sites the difference is large; for very high traffic, compare the two on your real numbers.
