Can I buy a domain today?
Not yet. We’re finalising how purchases are invoiced before we take payments. Every listing already shows its full price, and you can enquire about any of them now. We’ll tell you the moment it can be bought; the purchase then completes in the Grandhosting dashboard.
How do I sell a domain?
Sign in to the Grandhosting dashboard, open Marketplace and choose List a domain, or open the domain and click Sell this domain. A name registered with Grandhosting goes on sale at the price you set. A name at another registrar is first proven with a DNS record and then takes offers. Auto-renewal has to be on.
Does it cost anything to list?
No. Listing is free, and you can withdraw a listing or change its price at any time. Your dashboard shows exactly what you would receive from a sale.
Is the price on a listing the price I pay?
Yes. The price on every listing is what you pay, plus VAT. Nothing is added later at checkout.
How long does a .gr ownership change take?
After payment, buyer and seller each sign a short declaration on gov.gr. Once both are approved, control of the domain moves to the buyer, and the registry then checks the change of owner, which takes several weeks. The seller is not paid until it completes.
How is this different from registering a domain?
Registering gets you a name nobody owns yet, at the registry’s price. Everything here is already owned by someone who has decided to sell it, so the price is what they’ve asked for. If the name you want is still free, registering it is far cheaper.
