Right of withdrawal.

If you’re a consumer in the EU/EEA, here is how the 14-day right of withdrawal works for your Grandhosting hosting contract.

Your 14-day right

If you are a consumer resident in the EU/EEA, you have the right to withdraw from your contract with Grandhosting within 14 days of its conclusion, without giving any reason.

To exercise this right, you must inform us of your decision by a clear statement before the 14-day period expires. You can do this in any of the following ways:

  • by email to legal@grandhosting.gr
  • using the model withdrawal form below
  • using the withdrawal option in your dashboard

If you withdraw, we will reimburse any payments due to you without undue delay, and in any event within 14 days of the day we are informed of your decision to withdraw, using the same payment method you used for the original transaction.

Digital services started at your request

Hosting is a service that we can begin providing immediately. If you expressly ask us to start providing the service during the 14-day withdrawal period and acknowledge that you will lose your right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed, then:

  • if you withdraw before the service has been fully performed, you may be charged an amount proportionate to what has been provided up to the moment you informed us of your withdrawal, compared with the full scope of the contract;
  • you lose the right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed at your request.

No charge applies during a free development or trial period. This section does not affect any other rights you may have as a consumer — see also Section 6.5 of our Terms of Service.

What can be refunded?

What you get back depends on what you’re withdrawing from:

  • Domains are registered with the registry immediately on purchase and are non-refundable.
  • Hosting is refundable pro-rata for the unused portion of the period, where you asked us to start the service immediately — see “Digital services started at your request” above, including that you may lose the right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed.
  • Email hosting is billed monthly with a one-month minimum. If you withdraw, you are charged for the current month and the mailbox will not renew — this reflects the minimum term we are committed to with our email provider.
  • Any unspent wallet balance is refundable.

Model withdrawal form

If you wish to withdraw from the contract, fill in the fields below (this is the standard EU model form — you do not have to use it, but it makes things straightforward), then either send it to us by email or copy it to send however you prefer. Everything happens in your browser — nothing is submitted anywhere until you press “Send by email”.

To Grandhosting Ltd, Lordou Vyronos 36, 7th floor, Agioi Omologites, 1096 Nicosia, Cyprus (European Union), legal@grandhosting.gr:

Name, email, and service are required to submit online. We’ll email you a confirmation.
Send by email insteadThese alternatives run only in your browser — nothing is sent until you press one of them.

You can also withdraw without using this form — a plain email to legal@grandhosting.gr or the withdrawal option in your dashboard both work just as well.
