Technical details
Every site, on both sizes, runs OpenLiteSpeed with LiteSpeed PHP (with the GD, SOAP, BCMath, intl and zip extensions), a Redis object cache and its own MariaDB database, with phpMyAdmin one click away in the dashboard. You get a WP-CLI terminal over SSH with your own SSH keys, plus a WP-CLI console in the browser. A firewall is on for every site, with blocked requests listed in the dashboard, and malware scans run every night and whenever a plugin is installed.

You top up your wallet with at least €10 + VAT. Every site has a monthly minimum: €3.49/mo + VAT on Micro (one server) or €5.99/mo + VAT on Standard (extra power when busy). Every hour we measure how much server power each site used and deduct the cost from your balance. A quiet site pays just its monthly minimum. When a busy site on Standard adds extra copies of itself, you pay for those extra hours. You can switch on auto-recharge so your wallet tops itself up when the balance gets low.

Many hosts advertise a low introductory price that goes up sharply at renewal. Our price does not change at renewal — and during early access, your founding-member rate stays locked for as long as your account remains active, even after the public price goes up at launch. Over two years, a cheap introductory plan can end up costing more than ours, and on a shared plan your site shares a server with other sites instead of being sealed off from them.

No. Every site comes with a built-in speed cache (Redis) at no extra cost. It makes WordPress faster by remembering work it has already done, so pages and your admin area load quicker. Some managed hosts sell this as a paid add-on; we think it should be standard.

It restores on its own at the start of the next month, or within an hour of you raising or removing the limit. The lowest limit you can set matches the plan's monthly price.
